Robert had always liked these crew cabs but was not actively looking when this 1976 became available. He bought it and, five years into ownership when he shared the story, his kids already knew it as dad’s pickup.

A Lincoln 460 and C6, interior work and LED lights were part of what he had done. A full restoration remained the long-term plan. For the family, the truck already had its place.

How the truck came home
I wasn’t looking necessarily but I’ve always liked the crewcab highboys so when this one came for sale I had to buy it.
The memories behind the truck
I don’t think I have one experience in particular. More so I just like how cool my kids think it is. They get stoked to ride in “dad’s pickup”
Build details, in the owner’s words
Swapped in a Lincoln 460 and c6, redid the interior, and converted the lighting to led.
Plans at the time of the story
I’ll probably do a full on restoration at some point
