Zach's '75

@BodyByHighboy : That tire wheel combo is what I’ve been aiming for on my ride too . . . Love it
@GreenNWhiteHighboy : Thanks! They are 39.5x15x16.5 super swamper tires and Eagle alloyed series 58 rims
@BodyByHighboy : Would love to share your trucks story if you wanted to share it's story!
@GreenNWhiteHighboy : So this 1975 F250 Highboy is a father and son project truck that my dad bought for him and I to work on when I was 15 years old.
My dad‘s first pick up truck was a 1976 Highboy that he bought off his dad and when I was 15 I was looking for a project to do with my dad and he suggested an old Highboy pick up truck. After a couple months of searching we found it locally.
We’ve been working on it here in there without a garage. The motor has been rebuilt, a 390 bored 40 over with stock heads, Lunati voodoo cam, long tube headers and a Edelbrock performer intake with a Holley 650 double pumper carb. . . OH! This past year I had the transmission rebuilt also!
This truck is pretty rust free it came from Portland Oregon originally it was an automatic but the previous owners that we bought it from converted to a stick. The truck is far from perfect since it does have some rust on the body, but the frame is still in good shape.
The truck also has a 3 inch body lift on it which I plan on keeping. Then there’s a couple other few modern touches I want to do, but it’s gonna look mostly stock.
This truck means a lot to my father and I, so obviously I have no intentions on ever selling it. I enjoy every moment working on this truck with my dad. . . which is what this whole project is about. Just spending quality time with my dad and sharing our love of this truck together and any other old Ford truck.
