Shared by @mitchellseale. The timeline and plans reflect the owner’s original account.
Mitchell grew up hearing his dad’s Highboy stories and knew a family friend’s 390-powered 1974. His own 1977 became part of a journey in 2004, after high school, when he headed to Wyotec. A trailer broke down on the way, leaving him to drive from Twin Falls, Idaho, to Laramie, Wyoming.

After school, the Ford carried him home to Union, Oregon: 850 miles in 14 hours, without missing a beat. He also taught his high-school sweetheart to drive in it and pulled plenty of stuck drivers free. By the time he shared this account, he had owned it for 21 years. A built 429, substantial driveline work and a long list of future plans followed those early miles. His detailed specifications remain in his own words below.

Taught my highschool sweetheart how to drive in that truck. Pulled a lot of stuck people out over the top. Some stories I just can't share 😂
