Michael’s dad gave him this 1972 Ford. After 25 years of ownership, when he shared his story, the hours they spent working together were what he remembered most. He missed his dad, and the truck kept that connection close.

The Ford’s history runs through Craig, Colorado, then Bagdad, Wilhoit and Glendale in Arizona. A 2001–2002 restoration and a 390 replacing the 300 six were part of its next chapter. Michael also fitted components from a 1978 Ford, including the front axle, transmission and transfer case. His plan was to enjoy the truck at shows, with another paint job somewhere ahead. He also shared his appreciation for the Bumpside Crew community.
