Cody Storer liked SuperCabs, and this green 1977 F-250 had the patina he wanted. It was largely original and had not been pieced together. He bought it in southern Ohio, though Missouri inspection stickers were still on the truck. It began as a two-wheel-drive 460 truck.
A 7.3 Power Stroke and four-wheel drive were always the plan. Cody put the body on a 2000 F-350 chassis, keeping the green finish rather than repainting it. When he shared the story, he had owned it about four years and had started building it two years earlier. This was his first completed major project and his first season driving it.
The work and the years behind it
He took the Ford to the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan and the F-100 Supernationals in Tennessee. The trip from Ohio to Tennessee was about 500 miles each way. He reported no problems and said he had enjoyed building it enough to hope for more projects like it.
The next one was already underway: a 1957 F-100 planned for another Super Duty frame and 7.3 swap. At the time, Cody expected to sell that truck when it was finished, perhaps a year later. That was his plan when he shared the account, rather than a current sale listing. Follow his work at @c_storer26.

A 77 f250 swapped onto a 2000 f350 chassis with the 7.3. I have had it about 4 years. This is the first season I have been able to drive it since owning it.
Had fun building it, hopefully will do some more in the future like this one. Have had it about 4 years. Started building it 2 years ago.
Has Missouri inspection stickers but I got it from southern Ohio. Originally a 2wd 460.

I like super cabs and I liked the green patina this truck had. Was a good base to build off of and it was pretty much all original and not all pieced out yet
Yeah I always had plans for doing a 7.3 power stroke swap with 4x4. I'm a big fan of 4x4s

All ready started the next truck, it's a 57 f100. The plan is to frame swap onto another super duty frame with the 7.3
