Chandler always wanted this truck. The 1976 Ford came from his grandpa’s Ford dealership, and Chandler received it in 2021 after his dad passed away.

The story
One memory stands out. At five or six years old, Chandler would ask his dad to lift off the throttle as they went over an overpass so he could hear the Cherry Bomb mufflers popping.
The truck still carries other family work too. His uncle painted it, and Chandler does not expect to change that exterior.

The truck
After the Ford sat for several years, Chandler replaced its 36-year-old Mickey Thompson tires with new ones and added black wheels. Poppy’s Patina helped bring some shine back to the paint. He says the engine is a 428 Cobra Jet.
What comes next
Fuel injection is a possibility. Selling it is not. Chandler plans for one of his sons, or perhaps his daughter, to inherit it next.
